Bear Paw Hospice is located on the fourth floor of Northern Montana Hospital. Our goal is to offer rest and comfort in the last days of life, with professional and trained volunteer support for patients and their loved ones.
Loving, caring professionals and volunteers provide emotional comfort to help patients live their last days to the fullest.
When possible, family and friends care for the dying at home in familiar surroundings. We work closely with your physician, physical therapists, and Home Medical Equipment to bring in hospital beds, oxygen, bathing aids, and other medical supplies that you may need.
Palliative Care is the medical specialty focused on relief of the pain, stress, and other debilitating symptoms of serious illness. The goal is to relieve suffering and provide the best possible quality of life for patients and their families.
Grief Support, facilitated by a Social Worker, is offered regularly. Contact the Bear Paw Hospice office at (406) 262-1417 or email NMHCHospice@nmhcare.org to register.
