Dr. J. Gary Grow is a licensed psychologist practicing at Northern Montana Specialty Medical Center and also serves as the Director of the Behavioral Health Department.

Prior to joining the medical staff in Havre, Dr. Grow maintained an independent practice in Chicago for over twenty years. He also practiced at several Chicago area hospitals including Lutheran General Hospital, Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and the Rock Creek Center. He consulted at the Orthogenic School at the University of Chicago, a residential treatment center for troubled children and adolescents, as well as at several nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

Dr. Grow provides psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults, as well as counseling/psychotherapy services including individuals, couples/marital therapy, and family therapy. He also offers evaluation and treatment services for senior adults both in the office, and at the Northern Montana Care Center.

Dr. Grow is a member of the Montana Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and he is listed in the National Registry of Health Care Providers in Psychology.

He received his B.A. in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. He received both his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. His residency in Clinical Psychology was completed at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, and he served as a Staff Fellow at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
