Northern Montana Health Care Awards “C.A.R.E.” Award to Bill Chambers

Havre, Montana – Judy Solomon, Admissions Coordinator at the Northern Montana Care Center (NMCC) was recently awarded the MHCA 2018 Commitment to Caring Award for Ancillary Service. She was presented with this award at the Spring Conference of the Montana Health Care Association.

The Montana Health Care Association (MHCA) is a non-profit, member-driven professional association serving Montana’s long term care facilities. Founded in 1962 and originally representing only nursing homes, MHCA has opened its membership to all organizations involved in long term care. They represent for profit and non-profit, independent and corporate-owned, religious, fraternal and government-operated facilities, as well as hospital-based facilities.

The Commitment to Caring Award for Ancillary Service recognizes individuals who are outstanding in the area of long term care services. “Judy was recognized for her contribution to the quality of care and the quality of life of the residents in our facility.” stated Christen Obresley, VP of Regulatory & Community Services, and Administrator for NMCC. “In many cases, Judy is the first person families or residents meet when contemplating a move to the Care Center. As you know, first impressions are vital and Judy does a great job assisting families when making the transition to the Care Center.”

Judy has been employed at NMHC for 36 years. She spent the first 15 years of her career at Northern Montana Hospital working in a variety of departments. She has been at the Care Center for the last 21 years in her current position.
