Financial Assistance
At Northern Montana Hospital, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to necessary medical care, regardless of their financial situation. Our Financial Assistance Program offers discounted care to patients who qualify based on income and financial resources.
If your household income falls below 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you may be eligible for financial assistance. In some cases, if your income is above this level (up to 200% of the guidelines), available assets may be considered when determining eligibility.
We use the most recent Federal Poverty Guidelines, which can be found at aspe.hhs.gov/poverty, to assess eligibility for emergency and medically necessary healthcare services.

Patients who qualify for financial assistance will never be charged more for emergency or medically necessary care than the amount generally billed to patients with insurance.
