Sletten Cancer Institute represents a massive philanthropic achievement. Thanks to the thousands of donors who helped raise $8.9 million to establish the Institute in 2005, more than 10,000 cancer patients have received advanced, compassionate, whole-person care.
Recently, $1 million of donor-raised funds helped Sletten Cancer Institute purchase the Varian EDGE™ Radiosurgery System, the first in a five-state area. This noninvasive system treats difficult-to-reach tumors and other abnormalities in the brain, spine, and lungs.
In the battle against cancer, generous donors continue to play a vital role in bringing the latest treatments to our region. To inspire courage and bring peace to cancer patients and their families, you can give in a couple of ways:
