Dr. Ernest “Chip” Smith brings extensive experience in Emergency and Family Medicine to Northern Montana Hospital. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed his medical degree at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Smith completed his Internship and Residency in Family Practice at Saint Joseph’s Hospital. His career includes work with Indian Health Services as well as several teaching appointments. Previously, Dr. Smith practiced in the Big Timber area.
